‘If I were called in to construct a religion, I should make use of water.’
Philip Larkin
Over the past four decades my practice is marked by a profound dedication to studio practice and site-specific projects like opening the ‘Red October’ studio in Moscow, or the ‘Dark Vat’ artist residency re-activating an abandoned photographic paper factory in Siberia, to ‘Makers Place’ the first plastic and aluminium recycling facility in the Maldives, or ‘Renaciendo’ reopening the last Carmelita Convent in Spain closed for over 170 years; these projects highlight an ongoing commitment to meaningful cultural and environmental stewardship.
